Ahh...Topic Proposal

I'm trying to start my topic proposal and it's tough knowing where to begin. I checked out a few books from the library and they seem fairly helpful, but I haven't looked online yet. I think there are some good resources out there to help me with my paper but I just have to find them!

  1. You can start collecting online sources if you want, but don't put them on your bibliography for this project just yet. You might also find titles of books online that maybe didn't show up in your CardCat searches--once you have the titles you can insert those titles into CardCat to see if the library has them.

  3. The working thesis for Valerie's topic proposal was "The region is a very interesting place to live." She is very familiar with the topic of her paper because she grew up there. There is hardly anything missing in her proposal, however it is still a work in progress. She relates well to her bibliography and tells what information she can gain from each source. Her plan of action is to discuss the good things about the region and why people choose to live there. She is very organized and off to a fantastic start.
